Saudi Arabia
Mecca – Jeddah – Medina, Riyadh – Dammam can be travelled by train. Other cities or routes are only possible by bus (railway under construction). Furthermore, there are international train connections to Dubai and Kuwait in planning. There are three bus companies which cover different regions in Saudi Arabia SAPTCO, Northwest Transportation Comapany or Darb al Watan.

1) Route maybe via Mecca (banned for Non-Muslims) therefore please ask which bus you can take.
2) No direct connections. Bus to Khafji and then last 20 km to border with taxi.

- 3,45 SAR = 1 Euro for each trip (rechargeable card can be bought from the bus driver)
- All buses end / start in the city center Al Balad: https://maps.app.goo.gl/QDdJQq2brsSku1XM9
- Buses mostly don’t go directly to the sightseeing therefore you have to go by foot or take the taxi for the remaining route
- Airport: 20 SAR = 5 Euro every hour from Terminal 1 with terminal station Al Balad
- WizzAir land at the old northern Terminal and the bus only goes every two hours and is 20 minutes away from the Terminal one
- Highspeed railway only stops at Terminal 1
- Bus to the train station: non existent therefore you have to take the taxi for 50 SAR = 13 Euro (fro Al Balad / city center)
- Metro is just under construction
